Trans Am Racing LogoMusler Motorsports driver Hal Musler races in the Trans Am Series – America’s Road Racing Series in the TA2 Class. Driving a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro that was developed just for this series, Hal Musler competes for the title of Trans Am Series TA2 Champion.

Engine

The Camaro is powered by a V8 restricted engine limited to 475 hp with a 6800 rpm limit. Unrestricted, the V8 engine will push out 525 hp to near 700 hp. Too keep it cool, the engine oil, steering, and transmission fluid are all independently cooled.

Suspension, Brakes & Tires

Driving into the turns in the TA2 series, are 10″ wide tires controlled by rack and pinion and servo steering for quick steering along with front double wishbone suspension with coil springs. But what about stopping? Front rotors measure in at 12.19″ and rear at 11.75″ and are fan cooled.
